Critical insurance studies: Some geographic directions

Critical insurance studies recognises as not purely actuarial and calculative. From this recognition, theoretically informed research pays attention to the reproduction of power in insurantial discourse practice, possibilities for equitable change. To extend geographical contributions regard, I review critical describe three intersecting foci – governmentality, materiality spatiality. also contribute new insights considering co-constituting fluid fire space flowing adapting within everyday complexities, fiery constituted through multiple flickering realities.
